Captain Dave Kusterer's 26-foot port launch, The Islander, carries twenty-five passengers on a 45 minute tour. Captain Dave prefers to use a smaller boat as it can reach many areas of the Thimble Islands that can not be access by larger vessels.

Members of his family have shared a house on Kidd Island since 1903, so Dave's stories reflect his knowledge of the history of the Thimble Islands.

Captain Dave has been offering tours of the Thimble Islands since 1986. During the winter months you can see Dave's wildlife cruises in Florida which he has been doing for the last 17 years.
